In addition to enjoying a successful private practice, in Santa Rosa, CA, she is a CranioSacral Therapy instructor at The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy. She has also taught Deep Tissue Muscle Sculpting and Clinical Studies, and various forms of movement at IPSB in San Diego, CA. Alicia is very excited to bring much needed continuing education to the San Francisco Bay area. Her passionate curiosity for the human body from the holistic perspective is contagious.
Massage Therapy Courses Available Now:
CranioSacral Therapy Level I....30-hour course
Pre-requisite: Graduation from core bodywork program or other "license to touch"
This course introduces the principles of CranioSacral Therapy, and teaches some basic techniques that can be immediately incorporated into practice. CST Level I provides both a theoretical & experiential foundation. Theoretical & scientific highlights include the anatomy & physiology of the CranioSacral system, the benefits of CranioSacral Therapy, along with the history of CranioSacral Therapy & its relationship to osteopathy. Experiential highlights include learning & practicing techniques to release the diaphragms of the body (pelvic, respiratory & thoracic inlet), the sacrum, the dural tube & the occipital bone of the cranium. Level I experiential highlights also include a focus on many of the bones of the neurocranium, including techniques to release restrictions associated with the frontal, parietal, temporal & sphenoid bones, and restrictions at the TMJ. Instruction focuses on structural alignment, using a biomechanical approach to facilitate release of restrictions in the fascial network, thereby bringing balance to the CranioSacral system and the body as a whole.

Class schedule: Extensive Format class dates are set for Tuesdays 6pm-9:30/10pm,for 8 classes, from 4/26/16 - 6/13/16.
Intensive Format also available, Thurs-Sun, or 2 consecutive weekends Sat/Sun 9am-6pm. Current tentative dates for Intensive format are the consecutive weekends of May 14-15, 2016 & May 21-22, 2016, or Thursday-Sunday May 19-22, 2016. IF INTERESTED IN EXTENSIVE FORMAT PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP, AS THE RUNNING OF THE CLASS IS BASED ON ENROLLMENT OF 6 OR MORE STUDENTS.

$650/30 CEUs. Due at registration.
Registration closes 2 weeks prior to start of course. Any registrations accepted after that time are at the discretion of the instructor & based upon the physical size of the venue.

Tuition is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the start of the class. Refund requests must be made in writing. Between 29 days & up to 7 days prior to the start of the class, tuition is fully transferable (Meaning although it is not refundable, the tuition can be transferred to a class at a later date). Within 7 days, a $100.00 administrative fee will apply for transfers.
